Funeral Services

As a Funeral Celebrant, I have a passion to support those who have experienced the loss

of a loved one. I understand the deep and profound effect this has on the family and friends

and I hope to guide them through this very difficult time and to honour and celebrate

the lives of those who are no longer with us.

In the first instance, we will arrange a meeting, lasting approximately one to two hours, with the family of the deceased or those closest to them. This will give you the opportunity to share your memories of your loved one and discuss your requirements for the content of the service.

I will also be able to offer a selection of poems and readings for you to consider, if you wish.

With the information taken from our meeting, I will create a personal, meaningful and respectful service, that reflects the life, values and beliefs of the person who has passed away.

I will also devise a structure and flow for the service, communicating and liaising with the Funeral Director and the venue. A draft copy of the Order of Service will be sent to you for approval and to make amendments as you feel appropriate.

On the day, I will lead and deliver the ceremony and be there to serve and support the family and anyone who wishes to contribute a poem or reading. I will meet you at the venue, guide you through the proceedings and be available immediately after the ceremony.
